The room still had a nice atmosphere of old things, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was pleasant. We had a calm night rest here and delicious while a bit overpriced breakfast. Communication with the staff was a bit awkward. They offering a bottle of water in the room, you can drink it and pay for it. It's was in a fancy bottle and cost €4, not too expensive, but it was the worst water taste I ever had :D Probably I just didn't get it, sorry guys :) It was a ton of dust on our lamps, but everything else was clean. Fixing works are ongoing and they didn't even tried to hide it, you can see a room with a pile of building materials on your way to your room.

I liked the ambience of this hotel. A welcoming and friendly place to stay. A good sized room with a comfortable bed. In an area well served by public transport. Lots of cafes and food places nearby. The price I paid for the night was excellent value. I first came into contact with this hotel on a school trip from Ireland. Our students were very complimentary of the hotel. I was struck by the relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Location is good, there is a U- and tram stop very near. Easy to use public transport. I liked the room, we got a little bigger room with a nice wiew/ window outside. The room was comfortable and spacious. Room was clean. There is a renervation going on so public premises were littlr outdated but it didn’t disturbe me. There was a coffeemacine, it was nice. We didnt take breakfast.

Anni

The family room was clean, very spacious and bright and the hotel was in a great location (bus stop and tram nearby a few stop away from city centre). You can get free hot water on the first floor from the coffee machine (really useful for pot noodles!) The telly worked (and was not a stupid internet TV) so we could watch the Olympics!

Sophie

Stayed here for the Berlin Marathon which was right on the course route. Perfect location for that and all things Berlin. Very close to bus/tram/train stations. Easy to find. Great staff. Large room with a good shower. This place was so much cheaper than what we saw elsewhere in Berlin, just a really great value.
